Job description

One of the world's largest FMCG clients with a portfolio of some of the most established brands on the market is looking to recruit a Financial Analyst into its Operations Planning team. Working on their largest brand with joint responsibility to the Finance Manager you will be responsible for the understanding, forecasting, reporting and control of financial performance for all their sites totalling £323 million per annum. With the business seeing massive growth in their product base this role presents the perfect opportunity for an ambitious, driven and self-motivated individual to join a commercial business working with tangible products and fast track their career. Key responsibilities: financial integrity of period accounts, driving best practice, business efficiencies and ensuring Sarbanes-Oxley compliance; prepare consolidation and analysis for new initiatives and productivity; prepare strategy plans and targets; analyse sites to identify weaknesses and providing recommendation and solutions for improvement; quarterly forecasts. Experience required: fully qualified Accountant with financial reporting and internal Audit knowledge - CIMA/ACA; strong ability to manipulate complex spreadsheets; independent and self-motivated with the ability to work as part of a team; strong influencing and negotiation skills; ability to commute at all levels.
