Job description

Alexander Daniels is recruiting a Financial Analyst for a well know Financial Service business based in South Birmingham. You will be responsible for one member of staff and take the lead role with their development. As a senior position within the Finance function you will be responsible for producing accurate financial analysis of all the key products the business supplies. You will produce sophisticated analytical models for the purpose of assessing the viability of new products and the impact of key business decisions. As the focus of this role is on the profitability of the business you will have excellent commercial awareness. Our client is ideally looking for a part-qualified accounting at the later stages of a professional Accountancy qualification. You will be creative in your approach and have the confidence and ability to manage staff and deal directly with senior colleagues. Due to the highly analytical nature of this role you will have advanced experience in Excel and have experience of VBA, SAS, or SQL. Our client is a very successful financial service business with a dynamic and creative working environment. Development within this business comes quickly as you are given real responsibility from day 1 and an opportunity to add true commercial value.
