Job description

Eden Scott’s client a globally recognised privately owned company is looking to recruit a part-qualified Accountant who has some experience within a manufacturing industry to join its Finance team. This role is offered on a permanent basis with an excellent salary and benefits. The role: preparation of monthly financial accounts; preparation of annual budgets, variance analysis and monitoring spends against forecasts; working closely with other areas of the business to produce a detailed forecast; balance sheet reporting and reconciliations; assist in the preparation of the annual statutory accounts. Experience/background: part-qualified Accountant or qualified by experience with demonstrable experience; previous experience from a manufacturing or engineering background is preferred; must be analytical in nature; ability to communicate with various levels; strong IT skills (JDE/Oracle/Hyperion) and Excel skills required; ability to articulate and provide evidence to support decisions; keen attention to detail required; ability to multi task and work as part of a busy and dynamic team.
