Job description
My client, one of the leading Manufacturing businesses in Wolverhampton, requires a qualified Financial Analyst (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or a qualified by experience individual to join their expanding team. Paying up to £42k per annum plus benefits, this is a key role providing support to the Finance department with pricing & costing activity. This is a highly commercial role with genuine opportunities for progression. As a Financial Analyst you will be responsible for: leading pricing parameters from a financial perspective; developing financial projections; working with the existing team to ensure the commercial book meets desired profitability targets; supporting the delivery of financial targets for new bids and product introductions; supporting operations and supply chain colleagues with regard to make versus buy decisions. Technical skills & experience required: you will be a qualified individual (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or QBE; in-depth knowledge of inventory accounting; expertise regarding costing and the development of cost rates; experience of financial management within a complex manufacturing organisation; high degree of capability regarding data manipulation & query reports; excellent communication skills & an ability to explain financial figures to non-finance staff; strong analytical skills & an ability to work to tight deadlines whilst prioritising workloads. You may be a qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) looking to specialise in this field, or someone who is qualified by experience and has a proven track record in a cost/inventory role.
