Job description
Gleeson Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a market leading Engineering and Service business based in Worcester. This is a truly entrepreneurial business that is experiencing huge growth despite the tough economic climate. This fantastic role would ideally be suited to a qualified candidate from the profession or an industry candidate with strong analytical and commercial business skills. This is a truly commercial role that will allow the candidate direct exposure to the board both in group and Senior Management teams across the globe in destinations such as the US, China and Australia, so the candidate must be prepared to travel occasionally. The role will involve: periodic forecasts and plans to allow the company to understand the impact that projects and activities will have on resource and working capital; working closely with Contract Managers and Proposal teams to identify resource needs and the impact of new project on profit; review and challenge monthly results and forecasts with key stakeholders in the business; facilitate the creation, improvement and maintenance of the company’s financial and operational control frame work; investigate variances in performance across multi-sites; ad hoc project work when required. The successful candidate will need to be ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified Accountant and degree educated. You will need to have integrity, energy, determination and overall a confidence to communicate effectively across the business.
