Job description

Financial Analysts within Life Insurance/Financial Services, with financial analysis, forecasting and planning experience, are required to deliver analysis around the monthly MI process within the Finance function of a leading Insurance firm. Reporting to the Head of Financial Reporting, you will be responsible for production of the Monthly MI pack including financial and non-financial metrics. This will include Risk and governance reporting, IFRS, Cash, liquidity, regulatory and Solvency 2. You will also put in place the operating plan aligned to the planning cycle. The incumbent will be a self-motivated Financial Analyst ideally with a background in Life Insurance. General Insurance, Financial Services or Big4 firms will also be considered. You should also have experience in at least one of the following: solvency 2; Basel or IFRS. Qualified Accountant or CFA with excellent communication and organisational skills, you will be analytical, proactive, hands-on and have the ability to work as part of a small team. You must be able to communicate effectively, influence and build relationships with senior stakeholders.
