Job description

A large manufacturing business based in Barnsley (with offices situated around the UK) are looking for a Financial Controller. This is a new position that will report to the FD and take responsibility for two part qualified members of staff. Your main duties and responsibilities will include the preparation of timely and accurate financial accounting information, implementation of financial controls, supporting a management team that include non financial individuals, budgeting, forecasting and the development and motivation of the Finance team. We are looking for a committed Accountant who is keen to progress and willing to travel to other areas of the UK and occasionally overseas. In return an excellent salary package and a genuine opportunity for progression is on offer to the successful candidate.
