Job description

Alexander Daniels is working exclusively with a medium sized project business, based in the North Birmingham region with an annual turnover of £30 million. They are looking to recruit a commercially minded Financial Controller to join the Senior Management team. This role is absolutely crucial for the business to grow and hit their targets over the next 5 years. The ideal candidate will be an experienced and qualified Finance Manager/Controller with a project or Manufacturing sector background. The role will support the Finance Director in the day-to-day running of the Finance function and will include, Management/Financial Accounts, Budgeting & Forecasting, cash flow forecasting etc. You will be required to supply meaningful key decision-making material at monthly board meetings. The ideal candidate is a qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with a proven track record. Good interpersonal skills and a high degree of business acumen.
