Job description
Robert Half is exclusively recruiting for this c£50m t/o, multi-site organisation. Following a successful MBO in 2008, this organisation, has enjoyed growth both organically & by successful acquisitions. The Group is very confident about its future plans, which include relocating its head office to the Midlands & creating a new key role of Financial Controller. You’ll report to the Group FD, & will be responsible for managing the Finance function on a day-to-day basis, providing first-class financial control, leadership & mentoring. As a Business Partner, you’ll support & challenge Managers to achieve targets, including insightful analysis & commentary for the monthly board pack, as well as preparing budgets & forecasts. The broad FC remit will also include cash management, control of P&L & balance sheet movements, as well as statutory aspects such as audit, annual accounts & taxation. You’ll be an enthusiastic qualified Accountant, who is looking for an exciting, demanding role in a growing business. Strong IT, communication, & influencing skills are prerequisite; knowledge of integrating acquisitions would be advantageous.
