Job description
The role will involve: reviewing profitability of client, making recommendations for margin improvement; working with the business to identify and deliver cost savings; prepare budgets and forecasts; managing a small Finance team; building and managing stakeholder relationships. The successful candidate will be a fully qualified Accountant, with excellent client facing experience. They will have a strong technical background as well as being very sound interpersonally. He or she must be comfortable working with non-finance and senior stakeholders both internally and externally to the business. My client is a prestigious business services company with a very strong national presence and is recruiting a Financial Controller to join its Birmingham based Finance team which offers £50,000 - £60,000 per annum plus excellent benefits. Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
