Job description
This is a newly created position to work with a privately owned fast growing international Media Sales organisation. Managing a team of six you will maintain the control environment, ensuring month end reporting and quarterly forecasts are timely and accurate. You will play a key role in managing and developing the Finance function, supporting the business and helping to scope best practice, ensuring effective financial controls are in place, supporting and challenging the business to maximise growth and profitability. This is a broad control function; accountabilities will include financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and analysis as well as active involvement in the review and improvement of financial processes, project work and systems implementation, at the same time delivering commercial expertise to enable the translation of results and findings into effective improvements business wide. Additional responsibilities will include the continuous development of value added reporting and support to the wider business to ensure effective decision-making and analytical support. Interested candidates will be ACA/CIMA/ACCA qualified with demonstrated experience in the above areas ideally from an SME media related business, preferably advertising/online. Previous staff management experience is essential, as is the ability and desire to work within a relatively unstructured and growing business. Some international experience will be advantageous.
