Job description
The client is a growing international business in learning abroad. The financial HQ is London with offices in Boston, Mass, branches in Italy, Australia, China and Spain. The Financial Controller controls the Finance functions in all offices, reporting to CEO: producing monthly management/annual accounts; preparation/present quarterly reports to Board; budgets/forecasts including c/f analysis and currency management; administration of all US/UK tax affairs; oversee/improve key financial processes, controls and systems; i/c one UK Assistant, partially manage five Branch Managers; shared management of one Accounts Assistant in Boston regarding their financial reporting/cost control. Required skills; staff training, development, remote supervision; robust forecast models on Excel, knowledge of accounting in a multi-site entity, expertise with QuickBooks (useful); managing multi-currency accounting. Essential: previous knowledge of working in a US entity and experience with US and UK tax reporting are essential.
