Job description
Finance Manager / Financial Controller:- This exciting and innovative US Advertising Agency is winning major high profile clients in the UK and is growing rapidly. This agency is one to watch. To complete its UK Senior Management Team, the agency is looking to appoint a Finance Manager / Financial Controller to work closely with the MD and creative directors. Helping to grow the operation, the role is key to the strategic and commercial development of the business. In the early stages, the Finance Manager / Financial Controller will be responsible for setting up a finance and admin function, implementing controls, financial and management reporting, cash management, budgeting, forecasting and job costing. You will also be responsible for other back office functions including HR, legal, contracts and commercial issues. Most important will be your ability to take on a senior management / business partnering role that goes beyond just the Finance Manager / Financial Controller position. Your commercial acumen and understanding of Advertising will be key. You will be a qualified (or part / nearly qualified) Accountant (ACCA, ACMA, CIMA, ACA) with experience as a Management Accountant, Finance Manager or Financial Controller, definitely from an Advertising Agency. Prospects are excellent and highly exciting for a high calibre ambitious commercial Accountant.
