Job description
Leading business services company is seeking an ambitious and commercially orientated Financial Controller. Reporting to the divisional FD the role will include: Taking a project management approach to multiple contracts; quickly understanding the health and performance of each contract; analysing which contracts require turn around; working closely with contract commercial heads to create improvement plans and execute; client and supplier negotiation. This high profile role requires an individual who: comes from a contract/capex intensive/project environment; has the intellectual capability and analytical mindset to get under the skin of each contract; has the emotional intelligence and robustness to build cross functional relationships and push back on assumptions. This position is being groomed for succession into the divisional FD position within 18 months and as such your talent needs to match your ambition.
