Job description
This successful and acquisitive niche Manufacturing business is looking to recruit a qualified Financial Controller/Finance Director Designate. The business has grown year on year to achieve a profitable turnover of £12 million, operating in 5 sites and employing over 90 staff. Reporting to the Managing Director your immediate role will be to assume day-to-day responsibility for the Finance function (circa 6 staff), and to take on a prominent role within the Operational Management of the business. On a day-to-day basis you will manage and develop the current team, be responsible for the accurate production of management and financial accounts, as well as improving the current systems and accounting processes within the business. Previous manufacturing experience, and an ability to drive the business forward working with a dynamic managing Director is an essential requirement for the role.
