Job description
This privately owned and progressive Sales and Marketing company is part of a major Manufacturing group. With a large blue chip customer base the business is seeking a Financial Controller to join the Senior team. Reporting to the MD, duties will include: overall day-to-day responsibility for the Finance function supervising a small team. Specific duties will include: preparation of the monthly management accounts and annual statutory accounts together with budgets and forecasts. You will also required where necessary to be hands-on and assist in credit control, reconciliations and cash flow statements. You will also have the opportunity to be involved in the ongoing improvement of systems and procedures. This role will also be customer facing to a certain extent and will involve you in pricing, tenders and negotiations. This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) to have an influential role with the opportunity to progress your career in a highly successful and growing business. You should be able to demonstrate strong proven all-round experience.
