Job description
Chase and Holland is currently working with a Manufacturing client in Chesterfield on an exclusive basis to recruit a qualified Financial Controller for its busy site. Easily accessible from the centre of Chesterfield, my client is looking for a hands-on Accountant who is able to work well in a team environment. This will be a varied role which will need the successful candidate to complete a variety of day-to-day tasks. Duties within this role will include: production of monthly management accounts and associated reports; production of the year end; preparation of the annual budget; fixed asset register control; payroll; statutory returns/intrastat; costing of new products; labour variance. This role will report directly to the onsite Managing Director in a company which is poised for substantial growth over the next 12 months both organically and through acquisitions. Due to the predicted growth, this role will have excellent prospects for progression with future promotions available. My client is looking for an ACCA, CIMA or ACA candidate with relevant industry experience who is looking to join a company they can make a difference in.
