Job description
Reporting to the Group FC and Commercial Director, you will be responsible for: ensuring that product costing controls are adhered to and margins are within acceptable limits; working with budget holders to ensure overhead and profit targets are met through proactive risk and opportunity management; working with Category and Commercial teams to ensure best practice financial management tools and disciplines are implemented. You will be a qualified Accountant with exposure to a Manufacturing or FMCG environment. In addition, you will possess a hands-on approach to the preparation of management information, as well as the ability to interpret and recommend courses of action. With an ability to motivate and develop the Finance team, you will be a strong communicator be able to influence and negotiate with senior non-Finance Managers. Our client, a FTSE 250 household brand name, has established itself a leading business in this niche field. Salary on offer is up to £55,000 + excellent benefits. Where specific UK qualifications are required we will take into account overseas equivalents.
