Job description
Macildowie is searching for a qualified by experience Financial Controller for an established firm in Derbyshire. Our client is looking for a strong leader with confidence to manage a team, take control of finance and contribute to purchasing. Responsibilities include: management accounts preparation (with commentary) for presentation to Managing Director and Sales Director; supervising a team of 4 including credit control, purchase ledger and sale ledger disciplines; timely cash flow reports; balance sheet reconciliations; forecasting and budgeting; liaison with non-finance Senior Managers; joint responsibility for the purchasing department; maintenance of the SAGE system. If you are looking for a secure role in a strong company, managing a stable team in a progressive environment this is the position for you. Knowledge of engineering/manufacturing environments would be an advantage. Excel skills to pivot tables and vlookups is an essential skill.
