Job description
My client is the largest independent producer of organic vegetable boxes in the UK, with a current turnover of £45m. They are strong believers in fresh, seasonal organic produce. Currently looking to recruit a Financial Controller, this person will play a key role in the future developments of their financial procedures. The FC will manage the Finance team and carry out regular meeting and appraisals as well as: working closely with the Management team; managing the whole finance function; providing central support for the 5 other sites; assist in the development of the company’s ERP system; take an active role business development; development of financial controls and procedures; production of KPIs; managing debtors; VAT returns; cash flow forecasting; preparation of statutory accounts and audit responsibility; treasury management. The successful candidate will: be ACA or CIMA qualified; industry experience (food or manufacturing will be an advantage); have experience in using Microsoft Dynamics AX, Navision, SAP, Oracle or similar; have management experience; be confident, enthusiastic and a forward thinker; have excellent attention to detail; have strong interpersonal skills.
