Job description

My client is a global Technology business within the SME market. The company has enjoyed continued growth and profitability making it a very attractive proposition to future employees. The company offer excellent benefit packages and 1st class training in all areas. They are now looking for a Financial Controller to report to the FD and manage a team of 5 others. You will be required to manage the company financial planning and budgeting functions. There will also be close interaction with the Sales division, as you will be delivering forecasts and management information to them analysis of monthly financial and management accounts. You will also be expected to work closely with Senior Managers within the business to develop business plans and monitor performance against the plans and budgets. Financial Analysis for contract negotiations is also an important part of the role. You will also oversee the implementation of Treasury and Forex strategies. Experience: qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA); practice background; experience of financial and cost control interpersonal skills; ability to influence Senior Managers; attention to Detail; able to present complex financial information to non-Finance Managers.
