Job description

My client based in the South West Midlands is currently looking to recruit a Financial Controller for the sister company or of a larger owned group. As the Financial Controller for this site you will be responsible for all accounting from the grass routes up. This will involve basic accounting purchase ledger, sales ledger and payroll through to management accounting and statutory reporting to the US parent company. You will have no direct reports at this stage, however will be based in a wider Finance team who will act as support and mentor to you. This job would suit a qualified individual looking for a move from a mid-tier Practice or for an industry based candidate who has already had exposure at a level within industry. Either ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified with an understanding of debits & credits, management accounting and ideally some exposure to UK GAAP or US GAAP. You will need to be a good communicator ideally with ERP accounts system experience with good level of understanding around Excel.
