Job description
Our client is a leading Manufacturer with operations in the UK and overseas. They are now seeking to appoint a talented Manufacturing FC based out of Shropshire. Supporting the Group FD and site MD you will be a qualified Accountant with previous FC level experience gained within a high-volume manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for the operational performance review as well as all management reporting, budgeting, forecasting and year end statutory accounting. You will be familiar with reporting full monthly MI up to a parent. You will have a proactive mindset, able to review and improve Financial process and able to develop the quality of MI within the businesses. This role will oversee 2 subsidiaries and is a critical role within the group. Candidates must be strong communicators, able to challenge operations and be very familiar with providing meaningful manufacturing finance information and interacting within a shop floor environment. You must have direct experience of financial control and reporting within a standard costing environment and you will have experience of managing a significantly sized operation (£30M plus) previously. Experience of SAP or Mfg Pro will be beneficial but not essential although strong exposure to manufacturing ERP systems is. You will have the drive and determination to deliver high quality support to the Group FD and site MD.
