Job description
The client is the market leader in managing floor finishes for the Construction industry for major blue chip and public clients and about to launch a brand new concept in flooring, with global Partners. Current t/o c£23m and growing. The Financial Controller, reporting to MD (no FD), ideally working somewhere in interiors/construction sectors, must be a strong team player with an emphasis on individual excellence and pride in success, goal orientated with clear targets on how you will manage and motivate your team; ambitious and keen to develop and grow with the company, with the Board as your objective. Day-to-day: responsibilities: all Accounting functions (team of 3.5); introduce divisional management accounts/cost reporting; overspend list management; monthly statements; efficient and full use of Sage 200/Construct, etc. This is a highly ambitious and successful company, about to embark on a major initiative which will lift it on to a higher level. It’s the right time for the right FC to join.
