Following a period of steady growth this private equity backed Financial Services business is seeking to appoint a qualified Financial Controller with the potential to move into a Director role. With significant PQE suitable applicants should be able to demonstrate an impressive career to date with FS experience from industry or Practice (ideally corporate finance) as the business continues to grow organically and through acquisition. Managing a small team you will be responsible for producing management and financial accounts, budgeting, forecasting and cash management. Strong commercial analytical skills are essential, preferably experience of analysing claims activity, loss ratios, scheme performance and retail KPIs associated with the insurance sector. A self-motivated individual with strong communication skills will suit the role as you will manage relationships with external advisors, PE funders etc. This exceptional opportunity is a chance to join an organisation with significant expansion plans dominating a niche market. Only those applicants who have a legal right to work within the UK and possess a suitable amount of UK based finance experience will be considered, candidates already registered will be considered automatically.
Please note, it is unlawful to employ a person in a UK-based job who does not have permission to live and work in the UK. You should make yourself aware of how immigration laws apply to your situation before applying for any jobs. (Refer: Home Office Website).
