Job description
A well established and expanding SME Head Office has created this challenging role following the restructure of the Group. As a key member of the senior management team, you will work closely with the MD, establishing effective financial controls across the business and making critical commercial decisions and recommendations. An excellent communicator, you will liaise with operational Department Heads to create an understanding of the requirements of the Finance function. Responsible for external relationships with banks, Investors, Auditors and their outsourced IT Partner, you will need to be a qualified Accountant with good systems knowledge and strong negotiation skills. Demonstrating strong technical competency, you will be up to date with recent changes to financial reporting standards and other regulations. As the company meets its aggressive growth targets, this role is designated to progress to Group FD with responsibility for succession planning in the department.
