Job description
This organisation is one of the leading infrastructure businesses in Europe. With a diverse service offering & a strong focus on delivery, quality & customer service they offer an exciting work environment. Due to continued growth across its core markets it is looking for a Financial Controller to take on a key commercial role looking after a number of its infrastructure projects. Working closely with the FD & Senior Management team responsibilities will include: management & development of a team; formulating & driving strategy to increase profitability; overseeing the project accounting for its major projects; analysis for capital investment projects; managing the implementation of the business planning processes; financial lead on bids for construction projects; management & financial control of assets; managing the monthly business reviews process for the Directors; ad hoc commercial projects & assisting on all commercial matters; providing the technical expertise, on all financial issues; monitoring financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities. You will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with a proven track record within a similar role within an infrastructure/construction environment. You will have strongly developed commercial skills & the ability to manage a large team. This is an extremely high profile role & will offer excellent scope for long-term career opportunity. Experience of project accounting for capital projects is essential.
