Senior Financial Accountant/Financial Controller
We currently have an opportunity for a forward-thinking and hard working Financial Accountant to join the Finance team on a permanent basis.
Reporting directly to the FD, you will act as the No 2 in Finance and take control of:
- Statutory Accounts, TAX and Audit trails
- Managing forecasting.
- Managing budgets.
- Line management of 2 Management Accountants.
- Assisting and managing the year end process to allow free time of the FD.
- General reporting and variance analysis.
- Ad hoc financial accounting duties.
The Person
- You will ideally be classically qualified through ACA or ACCA and have practical experience in a senior industry financial accounting role. This may be following a time in Practice.
- You will have significant budgeting and forecasting knowledge and be used to demanding workloads and busy periods.
- You will have previous line management experience and be used to 1-2-1's, appraisals and general people management responsibilities in order to maximise efficiency and harmony with your team.
Experience to include
Essential
- Full financial accounting experience from cradle to grave
- Commercial Accounting experience

- Merger and Acquisition experience
