Job description
Robert Half Finance and Accounting is recruiting for a qualified Financial Controller to join a growing division of a 1bn t/o privately owned business based in Surrey. Reporting to the Divisional Finance Director, key responsibilities: to support and maintain such organisational arrangements for Operations, Sales, and Support functions as may be necessary; to ensure that historical and future performance data is available to enable the business to make informed decisions on future actions; to provide motivation, leadership and direction within the Finance team to ensure the achievement of targets; provide relevant Directors with technical financial advice; undertake ad hoc finance project work. The successful candidate will be fully qualified with experience at Divisional Controller level. Significant expire to non-finance operations is a prerequisite, as is the ability to demonstrate strong team management and leadership skills. This is a commercially focused role and so exposure to strategically planning within a growing business would be ideal; a background within a contracts based business or professional services would be a benefit.
