Job description

Our specialist Distribution client with a United States parent is currently looking for a Financial Controller to oversee the UK operation. In this role you will have full responsibility for the Finance function and report into the MD of the UK. Your accountabilities include: management of small team; cost control; variance analysis; year and month end accounts; cash flow; budgeting; liaison with Auditors; evaluating and improving procedures; lots of ad hoc reporting. This role requires a hands-on qualified Accountant with the ability to motivate and develop a team. It is important that you have strong influencing skills and have experience in dealing with non-finance management. Carlisle Staffing PLC trading as Hewitson Walker.
