Job description
A large multi-national client is the market leader in its field and now requires an experienced Financial Controller. This is a role for someone who wants to make a real contribution and you will be expected to use your experience to provide hands on leadership and accountability for all aspects of the business's financial accounting, compliance and reporting. This key position, reports to the Finance Director, leading a team. Your responsibilities will include: day to day management of monthly and statutory reporting; manage the accounting processing teams, as well as improving the analysis and reporting processes; delivery of improvements to the processes and systems as well as managing a broad range of relationships with stakeholders. You will ideally be a qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA accountant, with prior team management experience. You will ideally have senior finance management experience from a construction background. You are likely to have excellent IT skills especially in Excel and SAP will be advantageous. You must have great communication and interpersonal skills, as well as being a real team player. Where UK qualifications are specified we will take into account overseas equivalents. To apply for this position candidates must be eligible to work in country in which the role is based.
