Job description
Well regarded Manufacturing Organisation based in mid-Kent is looking to recruit a commercially minded Financial Controller to provide insight and influence to impact performance and increase competitive advantage. Reporting to the European FD, you will be the most senior finance person on site which will involve managing a small Professional team and ultimately taking responsibility for all financial and controlling activities (including preparation of budget results, cash flows, P&L, costings, inventory control, financial modelling etc) as well as actively contributing to commercial activities by working as part of a Senior Management team. The successful candidate will be professionally qualified and demonstrate industry/commercial experience of management and financial accounting in a manufacturing environment. This should include knowledge of cost accounting and standard costing. Exposure to SAP or similar is critical. The ability to manage and influence throughout the departmental structure and beyond, strong communication skills partnering across the business effectively and ability to build relationships across the site are essential as well as a natural and genuine demeanour.
