Job description

In line with an internal reorganisation, a thriving Financial Services business based on the Kent/London border is looking to appoint a strong and competent Financial Controller for a newly created position. Reporting to the FD, the role is varied and at times ‘hands-on’ with a team of 4 reporting in. Main duties will include reporting on significant revenue streams for various profit centres, budgetary control work, variance analysis etc ensuring full financial control and performance. Other responsibilities will include the development of systems/processes to help ensure effective financial control as well as recommending changes that will ultimately improve performance and controls. Applications are therefore invited from qualified Accountants (CIMA preferred but ACA and ACCA also acceptable) who can demonstrate PQE with a clear exposure to all traditional accounting tasks including management accounts reporting, budget control etc from a Financial Services or Business Services environment, complemented by the passion and desire to make this exciting career opportunity for 2012 your own. Unfortunately, due to the large number of applications we will only be able to contact candidates who are shortlisted for this role.
