Job description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Controller to join our client a large family run FMCG/Manufacturing organisation based on the outskirts of Hull on a permanent basis. Key responsibilities of the Financial Controller position will include: preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts; creation and consolidation of monthly management accounts on a weekly and monthly basis; conduct internal audit reviews ensuring continuous development of monitoring strategies and recommendations are reported; preparation of annual tax calculations and submissions; reporting of annual accounts for the organisation’s pension plan; assisting in the monitoring of compliance and internal policies by collating and summarising information; line management of a qualified Company Accountant and three finance support staff including payroll. The ideal Financial Controller will possess the following attributes/skills: essential: excellent communication skills; a proactive approach; hard working with a keen eye for detail; advanced Excel skills (v-lookups and pivot tables); fully ACA qualified.
