Job description
An entrepreneurial Property/Leisure business which is going from strength to strength seeks a Financial Controller for a newly created position. They have exciting expansion plans in place which will see them increase their turnover continually over the next few years. There is a need for an AAT qualified or part-qualified CIMA, ACA or ACCA Accountant to join their company based in Lincoln, reporting directly to the Owner/Managing Director. This is an exciting and pivotal role within the business which will include production of management accounts, assisting with budget and forecasting preparation, cash flow management, business planning, balance sheet reconciliations, KPI reporting, VAT returns and managing a small team. This role is to bring the accounts fully in-house and set up all accounting procedures and systems. You will also be expected to get involved in ad hoc project work. The successful candidate will be AAT qualified or actively studying ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified and relevant experience within a similar role. Excellent Excel skills are essential as well as a good working knowledge of Sage.
