Job description
Our client is a Global Market Leader supporting the Telecommunications/IT sector. Due to rapid growth, and the subsequent restructuring of the European and UK accounting organisation, the role of Financial Controller has been created to take responsibility for an existing 3 strong Finance team in the Liverpool based UK head office, leading the Finance operation and providing the link between UK operations and the US based parent. As Financial Controller you will be responsible for the timely and accurate reporting of financial and operations results and KPIs to the local management team and to group, monthly UK company consolidation, management of various entity funding requirements and the ongoing development of control and procedures to meet the increasing demands of this expanding business. Applicants must be later stage studiers or qualified finance professionals who will ideally be up-to-date with knowledge of UK GAAP, IFRS and Sarbanes-Oxley. Good MS Excel skills are essential and SAP experience will be of particular interest.
