Job description

A Music & Entertainment brand are going through an exciting period of growth & are looking to recruit a Financial Controller. This is a challenging and exciting role that will provide scope for progression within this expanding, dynamic company. Reporting to the Group FC, the position will lead a team of 7 people and control the accounts across various revenue streams. The need a qualified Accountant (ACCA or CIMA) or Equivalent with a proven track record as a Finance Manager. You will be hands on consolidating the group P&L & balance sheet, budgets & forecasts and financial reporting. Alongside this you will be responsible for completing the monthly management accounts and commentary and supervising the transactional finance functions. You will be expected to get commercially involved within the business, working on ad hoc projects and preparing Investment appraisals based on different scenarios. You will regularly review the systems and procedures to identify opportunities for improvement. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a similar function and be used to working to tight deadlines. You must have the ability to challenge business managers over variances to budgets & forecasts, have strong MS Excel skills and the ability to build models with solid analytical skills. In short, we are looking for an experienced Finance Manager that has an outgoing personality that can liaise with all levels of the business.
