Job description
As a vital member of our Senior Finance team, you will direct the Financial Reporting & Systems Accounting function. This opportunity will allow you to play an active role in managing the financial processes vital for projects such as the new hospital and building development and focus on delivering process improvement initiatives in the core financial accounting systems. Reporting to the Deputy FD, we require a natural leader to manage the function including: leading, manage and produce the Trust's Annual accounts to the highest standard and ensure these are fully compliant with IFRS, providing excellent capital financial management & planning processes, supporting the development of capital business cases by providing expert financial analysis, managing the Financial Systems function and ensure the integrity of the Trusts financial systems. This includes ensuring new systems upgrades are identified and appraised, management and development of the entire team, monitor KPIs, deliver personal development plans, appraising and target setting. We expect that you are a qualified Accountant with experience of leading and managing a team of accounting professionals. Your results-focused attitude combined with your ability to lead change management initiatives will be critical to your success in this role.
