Job description
Based in Canary Wharf, my client is looking for a Divisional Financial Controller for this £40m subsidiary of a £600m group. Reporting to the FD and managing a small team you will be responsible for statutory reporting and compliance, ie: VAT, PAYE, provide meaningful and timely management information, budgets, forecasts and actual reporting, integrity of the balance sheet, making sure reconciliations are complete and accurate, improve and develop controls and systems, liaise with Auditors, review overheads and analysis on costs, manage and develop the team. The ideal person will be a graduate, qualified with post qualified experience, with an understanding of IFRS, strong balance sheet skills and first rate Excel skills in order to lift data out of the Accounts system and produce reports.
