Job description

My client requires a Financial Controller. Reporting to the Group FC as well as the board you will be responsible for supporting the entire division to achieve objective and financial targets (budget, cost reduction KPIs), leading the Finance team to identify resource requirements, coordinating the production and submissions of the Board pack for key management, managing the compliance and governance process, ensuring accuracy in technical accounting standards around statutory reports, maintaining procedures and systems of internal controls, actively challenging the management of financial and business risk/opportunities, managing the Business Planning process in delivering business objectives – including development of action plans and appraising all investment proposals to provide analytical review in assisting in making investment decisions. The ideal candidate for this opportunity must have experience within a large infrastructure/construction/maintenance organisation with expenditure between at least £250m - £750m.
