Job description
A truly unique opportunity has arisen within an organisation that is as diverse as it is fast growing. My client is an international group of private companies operating in a number of geographical regions. The company is active in the fields of natural resources, oil and gas, real estate, diamonds and Financial Services. Based in a prestigious location in Central London the group are truly entrepreneurial, constantly growing and changing and provide an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, but grounded qualified Accountant to become their Group FC. Responsibilities of the Group FC include: reporting to the CEO and providing relevant management information in order to grow the companies and group; group management reporting; group consolidations under IFRS; reporting to the Executive Board and Divisional Board of Directors; manage cash and treasury function including cash flow reporting, payments and bank relationship; budgeting and forecasting for individual entities and the group; Oil and Gas Controller including monthly reporting and IFRS audit and investment financial, planning and analysis; management of a team of 4 (Middle office Manager, Assistant Management Accountant, Finance Assistant and Accounts Clerk). As a successful candidate you may be/have: qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA (or overseas equivalent); have new acquisition work, such as due-diligence and integration; experience of documentation for project financing for new investments.
