Job description
Our client is a major London based Charity. At present they are currently looking to recruit an interim Financial Controller to provide cover during a long-term absence. Reporting to the FD, key responsibilities will include: to provide professional direction and financial advice to the Central Directors on all aspects of financial management and control; leading and motivating a team of 11 within finance, IT and investment; budget setting, monitoring and reviewing with the FD and wider management team; reviewing and improving the financial controls systems and risk management strategy. The appointed candidate will be fully qualified and a highly capable finance professional who has spent at least some of their working life in the Not for Profit sector. Intelligent and self-confident, you will be able to demonstrate first class leadership, communication and influencing skills coupled with an inclusive and consultative style. This is an outstanding opportunity to build a high profile within this charity.
