Job description
An international Media services business is looking for a qualified Accountant to take on the position of UK Financial Controller. Reporting to the International FD and working very closely with the business this is a high profile role requiring a broad skill-set. The key responsibilities will include managing both the financial and management accounting teams and ensuring timely and accurate reporting. Liaising closely with the business you will create and critically appraise the monthly forecast for the UK and other overseas subsidiaries. You will play an integral role in the business planning process including the provision of financial planning and analysis support to the business. You will also be required to attend and present at the monthly senior management meetings. Applicants must be able to demonstrate strong technical and commercial accounting experience. Communication skills must be first class and previous team management experience is required. It is highly desirable, but not essential, for applicants to have direct experience of business services.
