Job description
My client, a highly reputable, medium sized Private Equity firm based in London (with offices in Europe), is looking for a Financial Controller to head up a recently created Asset Management business (focussed on renewable energy technologies). Based in the Central London offices, this role will involve all aspects of financial/management accounting, extensive liaising with the Banks re loans/costs, budgeting, forecasting and management of 1 Project Accountant. Additionally, you will work closely with the MD of the business on a day-to-day basis, as well as deal with ad hoc duties as and when necessary and indicative of a smaller business. The ideal applicant for this role will be a qualified CIMA/ACCA, looking to make the next step up to a managerial position within a smaller outfit - therefore strong communication skills along with a commercial mindset are mandatory, as is the desire to make a significant impact with the business.
