Job description
A Financial Controller is required with experience of working within a managed agency environment. Our client is an Insurance business that is looking to recruit an interim Financial Controller to provide cover during the permanent recruitment exercise. Reporting to the FD, key responsibilities will include the provision of direction and financial advice to the Central Directors on all aspects of financial management and control; leading and motivating a team of 11 within finance, IT and investment; budget setting, monitoring and reviewing with the FD and wider management team; reviewing and improving the financial controls systems and risk management strategy. The appointed candidate will be fully qualified and a highly capable finance professional who has spent at least some of their working life in the insurance sector. Intelligent and self-confident, you will be able to demonstrate first class leadership, communication and influencing skills coupled with an inclusive and consultative style.
