Job description
This boutique Marketing Communications agency is a leading player in its field & is currently experiencing exponential growth particularly in its digital operations & has further aggressive expansion plans for the next 5 years. As a result of this they now require a Financial Controller to manage their developing finance function. Reporting to the CFO as their No 2, you will ensure the smooth running of finance as well as well as working closely with the business providing guidance around deals & commercial contracts from a finance perspective. Specifically you will take full responsibility for financial reporting, management accounting, decision support & tax as well as managing a small Finance team & deputising for the CFO in their absence. You are ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent) with a proven track record of managing a finance function in an SME or a division of a larger group within the media industry. You are self-motivated with a good attention to detail & the ability to quickly establish credibility within the business. This is the pivotal role in a thriving media company at a key stage of its evolution. It offers challenge, variety & a fast track career path for the successful candidate. Media experience is essential with publishing and/or marketing services experience preferred.
