Job description

A successful and expanding privately owned business services group has a newly created post for a Financial Controller to take responsibility for the day to day running of the Accounts department of four staff. Currently being managed by the Group FD, who needs to become more operationally focused, the remit for this role will continue to grow to take over full responsibility for the finance piece within 12-18 months. The company is therefore looking for a fully qualified Accountant, preferably with a previous track record of leading a team in a commercial environment, but more importantly who is keen and capable to progress to the number one level within that timeline. The company currently consists of 6 entities, including 2 international subsidiaries, with a combined turnover in excess of £20m and 350 staff globally.
