Job description
Our client is a digitally driven business founded this year and in partnership with a large Media Publishing group. There is an immediate requirement to manage the transition of the Finance function from the Publishing group to the business hereafter the Financial Controller will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the Finance back office. It is important therefore that the Financial Controller is willing to 'get his hands dirty' ensuring the smooth running of the Finance function and taking responsibility for accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control whilst also playing a key role in delivering weekly and monthly management and KPI reporting to the Executive team. Whilst in the long-term, as business continues to grow, the team will grow to support this function it is envisaged that in the short to medium term the Financial Controller will take full ownership of these functions. Reporting directly to the CFO the Financial Controller will be a key recruit for the business and will have the opportunity to build a long-term career within a highly ambitious organisation. Who are we looking for ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified with post qualified experience. It is important that you are willing to work across all levels of the Finance function from data input, accounts payable to delivering first class reporting and financial control. Whilst SME experience is not a must you demonstrate experience in building/restructuring a finance function.
