Job description
Reed Finance is working with a growing SME which is looking to recruit an experienced Financial Controller. Reporting to the FD, duties will include: ensure that the Finances are managed effectively and efficiently, including the provision of appropriate systems and resource; to ensure that working capital is kept to a minimum, through efficient and accurate billing processes and tight control of debtors; to ensure that all accounting policies and procedures are followed; timely preparation of the monthly finance pack, including reforecast to end of the financial year; to ensure that weekly cash flow forecasts and debtors reports are submitted; to ensure that all HCME/Inland Revenue requirements are met; to prepare annual budgets; to provide a year end audit pack with clear back up and assist the Auditors with their enquiries and provide supplementary audit packs on a quarterly basis; to provide ad hoc financial analysis and reports to support management as required; to monitor overhead budgets and work with management to keep overhead expenditure under control. You will be a fully qualified Accountant, with experienced of working within the SME sector. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential while experience of using Sage would be advantageous.
