Job description
A commercially focussed opportunity has become available for a PLC business in the Newcastle area. Our client has impressive growth plans with clear growth targets. With strong ambitions to provide better solutions and service to their clients, they are equally as focussed on their employees. You will be an influential proactive key contact within the business, understanding the business model, gathering convincing management information, developing strong links with Managers across the business and encouraging delivery of actions to improve the balanced score card results of the clusters. You will prepare timely and accurate weekly information and monthly management accounts pack. You will coordinate the forecasting process for the group ensuring that all are completed on time and supported by commentary, creating reports and presentations that detail the assumptions and key deliverables underpinning the forecast, and highlight areas of risk or opportunity. Your role will also to analyse business opportunities including bids, ensuring they are commercially sensible. This is for a business that expects to see substantial growth due to the winning of new contracts/business. Candidates must be qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA and show demonstrable experience in adding value commercially and cost saving.
